The Loan Officer portal is part of the HomeStory platform for banks. Using the portal, they can gain insights to customer status and behavior during their home buying journey. The portal brings transparency between real estate agent and mortgage loan officer. Given that most Loan Officers are working from their laptops, this is a desktop solution with responsive capabilities for those who are on-the-go.
Where’s my customer?
We interviewed a number of mortgage loan officers at multiple banks and discovered their number one problem is a lack of transparency during their customer’s home search. Generally, a customer will come in and get prequalified and then disappear. If things work out, the customer will come back around when they’re ready to make an offer on a house. With the Portal, loan officers can access a customer’s history and status in their home-buying journey.
